Abstract

The paper considers a non-stationary computational model for determining the temperature regime of a reservoir and the dynamics of the ice cover in the cold season. The model is based on the numerical solution of the Stefan’s problem in a generalized formulation. Climatic conditions were taken into account in the form of average daily values dependencies of air temperature, wind speed and solar radiation absorbed the surface of the reservoir. Computational modeling of the temperature dynamics of the reservoir was carried out for climatic conditions in the region of Krasnoyarsk. The influence of heat fluxes and snow cover thickness on the time dependences of the temperature in the reservoir and the dynamics of ice growth was analyzed. The results of the computational experiment are compared with the measurement data of the ice cover thickness
