Abstract

The article deals with some questions about mediation and other types of conciliation procedures in the arbitration process. The issues of mediation are analyzed, in particular, intervention for the purpose of reconciliation; in the sense of mediation invested by the legislator, mediation as a broader concept than mediation. It is proposed to classify all conciliation procedures into three general groups. It is noted that the following law-making legislative initiatives are subject to successful promotion of mediation in Russia in the future: release of the parties from litigation in connection with the appeal to mediation procedures; responsibility and possible material appeals in relation to mediators for the disclosure of information that has become part of the process of conducting mediation procedures
