Abstract

A series of calculations of the interaction of single and segmented rods with massive blocks and plates of finite thickness have been performed. Comparisons with experimental data for verification of material parameters under dynamic conditions have been made. Both qualitative and sufficiently realistic correspondence of the results of numerical modeling to the experimental data, such as the non- monotonic dependence of the cavity depth of segmented rods on the size of the gap between the segments, has been obtained
