- Abstract
The article raises the problem of human capital development through sports practices. The authors put forward and prove the position that one of the successful ways of developing human capital in Uzbekistan is the practice of sports and physical culture. As part of a representative study conducted by the authors, it was revealed that boxing, taekwondo and football are the most popular sports in Uzbekistan, and Uzbek youth very positively assesses sports practices at different levels. According to the results of the study, the authors came to the conclusion that the economy of Uzbekistan is at the stage of dynamic development, taking into account the rapidly changing conditions of reality, which requires understanding the new spirit of the times, expressed in actual forms of investment, in particular, one of the successful investments is the sphere of sports and physical culture
