- Abstract
the research article addresses current issues related to the harmonization of legislation in the post-Soviet space in the field of combating corruption. The concept and essence of legal harmonization are examined, and a comparative legal analysis of national anti-corruption regulatory frameworks in several member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States is conducted. Special attention is given to international anti-corruption standards and their influence on the convergence of approaches. The study identifies conflicts, gaps, and discrepancies in national approaches to defining and suppressing corruption offenses, and analyzes institutional mechanisms for combating corruption in the examined countries. Existing legal and organizational barriers to harmonization are highlighted, and forward-looking measures are proposed to enhance intergovernmental cooperation and unify anti-corruption norms. The study concludes that further coordination among CIS member states is essential for the development of common legal standards to increase the effectiveness of anti-corruption efforts in the region
