- Abstract
In 2025 the Krasnoyarsk Museum Biennial turns 30. During this time, the project has become the main cultural event of the city and region, with which Krasnoyarsk is identified at the federal and international levels. In 2009 the project received the Innovation Prize in contemporary art. Over the course of 30 years, the Krasnoyarsk Museum Biennial has evolved, turning from a “museum biennale” into a “biennial of contemporary art”. The relevance of this study is due to the need to study the history of this project, to understand the conceptual and methodological features of the project, which turned it into one of the most prestigious projects in the city’s culture. The article identifies and describes the stages of development of the Krasnoyarsk Museum Biennial, as well as the features of the conceptual design of this event
