Abstract

Information and communication technologies are an integral part of the modern educational process and are a means of communication for its main participants: teachers, students and their parents. Therefore, the result that is expected and desirable depends on how successfully they will be used in the process of teaching and educating a new generation. The study is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of students’ assessment of the results of the introduction of information and communication technologies into the educational process in the post-pandemic period. An attempt has been made to assess the level of readiness of students to use modern technologies in the educational process, to find out their expectations and the real state of affairs. The empirical basis of the study is the survey data for the 2022–2023 academic year for students in grades 10–11 of schools and colleges in Primorsky Krai (Russia). The processing of the obtained data was performed using mathematical methods and cross-comparative analysis. As a result of the study, the fact of low material and technical equipment of educational institutions, the presence of low teacher skills with modern computer technologies and the lack of guidance in this direction was established. The main positions that should help the teacher regain the attention and interest of the student in the modern educational environment are identified. The work will be useful for those who study the issues of digitalization of education and the use of information and communication technologies in the educational process
