Abstract

The transformation of the contemporary socio-cultural space allows us to rethink a number of issues related to the interaction between traditional and innovative cultural components. Part of these transformations is the transformation of the forms of knowledge preservation, transmission, and processing, largely associated with the influence of digital technologies. One of the most sought-after technological solutions is information and analytical systems, which are a significant tool for representing knowledge in the digital space. An analysis of existing projects in the field of creating information and analytical systems aimed at structuring and preserving indigenous knowledge demonstrates a shift in research attention from database architecture to more complex issues related to the principles of interaction with information and the legal, moral, and ethical foundations for providing open access to indigenous knowledge. At the same time, the organization of indigenous knowledge itself often boils down to the collection of highly generalized information, structured either thematically or by reference to specific groups of indigenous peoples
