Abstract

This paper proposes an analytical and empirical method for assessing the heating performance of a three- component coal-water fuel containing a dispersed coal fraction, water, and liquid fuel (fuel oil) as an energy carrier additive to improve flammability. The paper examines heat release, product temperature, combustion coefficients, and combustion dynamics. Formulas are derived for calculating the specific heat, the conversion factor to effective thermal power, and the combustion rate. Model calculations are performed, and graphs of the heating performance versus fuel composition are constructed
