Abstract

The article provides an analytical review of modern methods of non- destructive testing (defectoscopy) of main pipelines and linear infrastructure facilities. It conducts a comparative analysis of traditional and promising diagnostic technologies, highlighting their advantages, limitations, and areas of application. The main focus of the study is on the innovative radar method of remote diagnostics. The article substantiates its potential for real- time monitoring of the condition of long sections of pipelines. The proposed approach will enable the efficient detection of through defects and corrosion zones. In conclusion, the article formulates conclusions about the prospects for the implementation of radar technology, as well as about the existing problems and directions for further research in the field of linear structure flaw detection
