Abstract: Aromatic hydrocarbons composition of oils was determined by the GC-MS method. Analysis of the results showed that there is a wide variety of alkyl-substituted benzenes, naphthalenes, fluorenes and phenanthrenes. Relative concentrations of special types of arenes varies in different oils; but in the most part of oils alkylbenzenes are the most representative type of arenes.
