- Abstract
The article examines the possibilities of sacralization and symbolization of values in the ethnoregional culture of the Greater Altai. The emphasis is on identifying the grounds for the unity of traditions and patterns of this culture. At the same time, its specificity lies in the establishment of the God – Man–World value-semantic complex, in which the substantial and civilizational levels of human existence are refracted. For generalization, the material of the religious systems of Shamanism and Burkhanism, which have become widespread in the spiritual culture of the Greater Altai, is used. The processes of sacralization and symbolization taking place in ethnoregional culture give an idea of the formation of the God – Man – World trinity, unique for this culture. It is established that it reflects the desire of peoples and cultural bearers for world order through the path of Man to the Creator. Finding Peace in finding the way to God means a special world order in which the vitality and energy of the genus and representatives of different peoples of the Greater Altai are manifested. The concept of the philosophy of place is used to substantiate the importance of the sacred center of ethnoregional culture in understanding cultural genesis and understanding the meanings of human existence
