Abstract

The problem of fogging of the primary mirror of the TPL‑1M telescope‑rangefinder during observations under high humidity conditions is considered. A technical solution is proposed based on two heating cables placed in the telescope baffle near the mirror and an ESP8266 microcontroller module with five DS18B 20 digital temperature sensors. The system provides manual and automatic operating modes with a web interface, setting the required temperature difference between the optics and the environment, and also performs cyclic data logging. The hardware implementation, control algorithm, and practical operational results are described
